advaita records is pleased to announce the release of a live cassette by T.Mikawa and Tentenko's unit MikaTen.
We had the opportunity to see them live at Bears in Osaka a few years ago and were blown away by the fusion of intense noise and ever-changing rhythms in a style reminiscent of 23rd century techno.
T.Mikawa is well known for his work with Incapacitants and Hijokaidan, but his innovative style with Tentenko in MikaTen should also be highly appreciated.
This tremendous live performance was duplicated to perfection on the legendary Nakamichi ZX-7 cassette deck from the 80s.
I cannot praise this album enough. This album is absolutely terrifying! The many starts and stops creates this very h settling tension. Each start expands on the stopper idea previously. It’s like the music equivalent of walking through thick fog while passing out multiple times throughout trying to find a place to orientate yourself. There may or may not be something sinister in that fog, but you don’t want to stick around to find out. Bought the vinyl so I summon the fog demons through spe showhornwithteeth
