We are pleased to announce the cassette release of the latest live recordings of Japanese power electronics LINEKRAFT, September 18, 2022 in Nagoya and October 29, 2022 in Tokyo.
If power electronics is defined as having distorted electronic sounds, clear song structure, and lyrics, then power electronics is almost non-existent in Japan.
LINEKRAFT is one of the few who do exist, and in order to show our utmost respect for his sincere attitude toward music and lyrics, and the challenge of power electronics in Japanese, we have recorded this live analog recording with the strongest lineup of Sony Cassette Denske TC-D5M and Sony Super Metal Master. The recording was perfectly duplicated on a Nakamichi ZX-7.
After seeing the live performance in Nagoya in September, we were convinced that it had to be released by the end of the year 2022, so we have recorded it in its entirety along with the live performance in Tokyo in October, which was recorded in a different arrangement.
The artwork features a photo of S21 Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum in Cambodia taken 13 years ago. The design is completed by the overlapping of three layers: a photo of S21 on the outside of the cassette case, a live photo on the tracing paper, and the LINEKRAFT symbol on the Japanese paper jacket. The design is completed by overlapping the three layers.

I cannot praise this album enough. This album is absolutely terrifying! The many starts and stops creates this very h settling tension. Each start expands on the stopper idea previously. It’s like the music equivalent of walking through thick fog while passing out multiple times throughout trying to find a place to orientate yourself. There may or may not be something sinister in that fog, but you don’t want to stick around to find out. Bought the vinyl so I summon the fog demons through spe showhornwithteeth
