Banetorikoによるカセット作品「逆さの樵面より」は、作者不明のインターネット怪談「逆さの樵面」にインスパイアされて制作され、
自作楽器Banetekや金属、サンプリング付きのキーボードCasio Sk-1などを使い、失われた神楽舞のストーリーが再現されており、今までと比べて、幾分「音楽的」なアプローチにも挑戦した作品です。
作品をより深く理解するためにも原作を一読することをお勧めします。

A short ghost story, “Inverse Mask of Woodman,” spread on an Internet bulletin board with an unknown author.

The hidden truth and curse gradually came to light when the lost woodman’s mask and woodman’s mai dance were revived over the 500-year history of Kaguramai dance in a certain region ...

Banetoriko's cassette work “From Inverse Mask of Woodman” was inspired by “Inverse Mask of Woodman,” an internet ghost story with an unknown author. The work reproduced the lost Kaguramai dance story using a self-made musical instrument known as a Banetek, metal, Casio Sk-1 keyboard with sampling, and the like. The work challenged a somewhat “musical” approach when compared to the past works.

It is recommended to read the original work to better understand the cassette work.
